World People
World People is a Trance organisation born in 2006.
Located in the south of France in Carcassonne, that's the story of 2 friends, Kristo decorator and Toto dj, who first runned a shop and been all around Europe in festivals.
With the time we grown up and as we are trance lovers, we began to organize after parties at the events we worked in. People started to know us as a kind of Pirate Sound.
In 2006, after 5 years on the road we created World People.
The main aim of our organisation is to promote the electronic music and the artists involved in this movement. To do so, World people organise a festival once a year, but not a usual one, making the same event as the others has no sens for us. We want the people to be actor of the gathering, our duty is to prepare the adequat conditions for them to make the show. So World People event is more a music-carnival than a 3 days dancing festival.
Each years we define a theme and create a whole universe with deco and costumes, and for the atmosphere to be really complete, 10 artists of the festival create a track based on the subject.
Those tunes are played for the first time during the gathering and you could listen to them again and again on the compilation !!!

Thomas aka Annunaki and Dj Kustom fell in the trance movement when he was 12 years old in Ibiza. The DJ Universe was very attractive and he started mixing in parties and festivals in 2004. He founded Freak Street in Belgium as a party promoter. In 2008 he began writing his own music under the name: Annunaki and he joined the World People crew.

I'm Steven born in Tours and living in french britanny.
Since my first festival in Switzerland in 2002, everything changed, straight fallover and trapped in a psychedelik spiral then get to move to indoor party, outdoor, clubs in London, festivals around Europe, South America !
After few years on the dancefloors, blasted time and wearing out my shoes, i started playing dj set under the name SYNAPTICK. many friendly parties, some festivals, appeared to tell tales, in groovy style with fat kickbass, lead crunshy, bubbles and liquid
mysterious pad all from a forest !
Never enough, need more and more, so i wanted to tell my own story, coming out from a psychedelik experience, and then was born the live project alled synaptick also !
i touchdown in french alpes close to a friends, where i learned some pratical methods with shotu and occy. my way crossed WORLDPEOPLE and since this time, in 2008, i'm on the worldpeople family ship and carryone this pirates adventures.
just i come back in my french britanny with lot of energy, motivation, creative thinking, to make a flight through the psychedelic space.

Djane Little Pumpkin discovered electronic music at its beginnings in 1992, with Laurent Garnier, at the time of the mythical “Wake Up” parties in the Rex club. She arrives in the more than underground parties in 1994...She hangs very quickly on what will become more than simply music, because a few years afterwards she starts mixing. But at the time of her 1st booking in October 1999, that many things start...Located by Miss Etta, founder of Tiny Teck Organisation, everything started then for her: bookings, meetings, a beginning of course which will bring her at Tiny Teck, where she will become one of the resident Djanes. As of her arrival in this tribe in 2001, Little Pumpkin will not have of cease to confirm with the passing of years, her talent and her place on the Trance scene. Because after years of mix, her road brings her inevitably to composition. She signs 2 tracks “Clean Us” and “Native Dance” with Triskell in 2004 on the “Peak a Boo” compilation, on Peak Records. Thanks to this notoriety and recognition of the audience on one hand, but as much of the artistic male gente, the charisma of Little Pumpkin confirms the place of a woman in the french Trance scene. And it is especially thanks to all this provided work, her technique mingled with this particular energy which emerges from her sets, that Little Pumpkin remains one of the uncontested Djanes of the French scene. I discovered underground tekno in the 92's with the Spiral Tribes Sound System, since then, electronic music has never left me. I followed at first the hart tek movement almost everywhere in Europe but as festival-goer, and I began to mix LP's.
In 1998, I wanted to discover new horizons so I landed in India, especially in Goa where I really discovered trance psychedelic and its culture. From there I skimmed the festivals almost everywhere in Europe.
But the envy to take part actively in this movement was stronger each days, so I joined the World-People at its very begining. My addiction to mix records was also stronger... , I played at Freaks Blast, Arcadia, Megalitik, the BatoFar.... My kind of music is trance night psyche with a good groovy side and tribal. My influences : Parasens, Psymmetrix, Orca, Rev, Evp and many more.....

I'm a real trance junky !
I started to collect music from the early 90’s during my trips around the world. In the end of 2002, I'm contacted by the Liquid Connective when travelling in South Africa to play for festival in Rusthler Valley after the Eclipse festival. Back from Africa, i played for the season in Goa and started to be known as DJ. Since that time I played in many diferents countries and for many diferents festivals like the Little Green Planet Festival in Kent (UK), the Waterworld Festival from Hvar in Croatia, in Portugal and Greece. After a full season (2005) playing in La Reunion island, i started to learn and produce music under Soundz Pirates project. World People crew and I joined Trance Karma to create in Portugal the first winter festival for the new year, the Freaks Blast ...... Since this time i builded with my brother & fellow Kristo the World People organisation. We made the first Revolution festival 14 july 2006 and i played for Soul Eclipse, Freaky Dragon, Rythm of Peace, Arcadia, and made the Freaks Blast for the second edition....... In 2007 i joined Fabien (Illegal Machines) to create a new psychedelic fusion project : Pirated Machines. We release tracks on Bom Skanka Music,Trance Karma rec, Hadra rec, Pharpsyde rec. Pirated Machines is good mix between a groovy bass line to shake your ass, with some twisted leads to make fly your mind and original samples to make u laugh.......Enjoy !

Stemming from the hardtek movement and from the freeparty, I left the South of France in 1998 to join the trance world of Ibiza and I began to mix under the name KEVMIX. I played for several collectives (tribe frog) and in various places and club in Ibiza (las dalias, galanight and canfly... Then I left Ibiza for Barcelona to take care of different sound systems (Sound and vision, Muscaria etc.) and my own collective: " Freaks and sound " until 2005... In 2004 I began to mix in Europe (Belgium, France and Portugal) and in 2005 I left to Brazil where I was able to play in various clubs and festivals like Pongal in Bahia's surroundings.... Back from Brazil I played at the Freaky Dragon festival, at the Omni festival. I keep moving and I joined the World People after-parties in 2007 where I found the familly spirit and the good vibe of psytance ...... and further to their invitation I joined them......

Hip hop movement native, Miss Tick discovered techno music in 1999. She meet Dj Natas, and they always release progressive sound as they love it: FAT music! Promoter of the famous “Trance Embarquement” parties in the well known Parisian “Boat” club “LE BATOFAR”, where some master progressive Dj’s and producer like Dnox and Beckers, Kasey Taylor, X Dream, André Absolut, James Monro, PRime Time, Symphonix, and many more played, she acts to promote progressive music since 2001. First in Submachine crew, then with the Trance Embarquement parties, she works to increase public, parties and success in France for this music she loves so much. She joined Seventh-sky crew in 2006, to create all together the “Majik Sterenn” parties. They immediately fell in love and act now all together to promote eclectic parties around Paris. She come back now at the Batofar with Fat Data Events and Oxia and Prime Time ! Now, she's a part of german Label called Spin twist records. Dj set speaking, Miss Tick like to play between progressive trance and progressive house/electro, with definitely a part of tribal accents. Hers set Dj’s are known for their glamour touch, a growling and rolling sound ever!
